Olivia Martinez, LSW

Olivia Martinez is a Licensed Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker, receiving her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and her master’s degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University. With over a decade of experience, Olivia has worked in case of management, mentoring, alternative and public education, and individual/group therapy. She has spent much time focusing her expertise and passion on working with adolescents, young adults, and families treating ADHD, anxiety and adjustment disorders, depression, oppositional defiance, school challenges, and parent/child relationships. In addition, Olivia has broadened her skillset in working with adults and has treated disorders such as Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder I & II, OCD, and supporting individuals as they adjust to life changes.

 

Olivia prides herself on being able to create a safe, judgment-free environment where you can feel safe to freely express yourself and leave your sessions feeling you have been heard and validated. One size does not fit all, and Olivia believes in utilizing a wide variety of techniques and tools, including but not limited to CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused care, to create an individualized treatment that supports you in achieving your goals and being the best version of yourself. While it may have been challenging to decide to seek support, it deserves to be celebrated as you begin this journey of growth and empowerment!
