Subhashree Ramesh, MD

Dr. Subhashree Ramesh is a Board-certified Child and Adolescent psychiatrist. She completed her adult psychiatry residency training from Albert Einstein Medical Center and her child fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She has also trained in psychiatry in India and has 20 years of experience in the field. Due to her rich and varied background, she can see and assess problems through a cultural lens. Currently, she is a physician advisor for behavioral health managed care organization and interacts with multiple providers of psychiatric services to ensure that good quality of care is provided. She has worked as an assistant professor at Rowan University, taught residents and fellows, and volunteers as faculty with Thomas Jefferson university Child Psychiatry department. She specializes in working with children and teenagers with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Her interests include cultural psychiatry and using yoga/breathing as techniques to improve mental health in addition to psychopharmacology.
