Colleen Karasinski is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She studied at Immaculata and Wilkes Universities in Pennsylvania. She specializes in providing for adults with various mental health illnesses, with a strong emphasis on treating those with anxiety and mood disorders. She also provides services to those with anger, attention, impulsivity and substance use disorders. Prior to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner she worked as a nurse for 25 years in a variety of medical settings. Since 2010 she has followed her passion to solely practice and specialize in psychiatry. She has previously worked with psychiatric patients in multiple settings including acute care, outpatient, long-term residential facilities, rehab centers, and most recently worked for Penn Medicine in the Psychiatric Crisis Center at Pennsylvania Hospital.
