Kyoohee Kim, APN
Kyoohee Kim is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive mental health care to adolescents, adults, and older adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Temple University and her Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Drexel University.
With more than 15 years of healthcare experience as a nurse, along with a strong academic and clinical background, Kyoohee brings a well-rounded foundation to psychiatric practice. Her areas of focus include depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and substance use disorders. She provides medication management and psychotherapy as part of a comprehensive, individualized approach to care.
Kyoohee is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients and creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and understood. She takes a patient-centered approach, working collaboratively with each person to understand their concerns, identify their goals, and develop a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.
Her practice is grounded in evidence-based guidelines, clinical expertise, and thoughtful clinical judgment. She believes effective mental health care should address the whole person—not simply a diagnosis—and strives to help each patient achieve greater stability, well-being, and quality of life.
